BE A YOUTH COUNCIL LEADER

Changing your community or making a difference doesn’t have to wait until you’ve grown up. The library hosts three Youth Leadership Councils that help to advocate for their communities – they are also a great way to earn community service hours, gain leadership experience, prepare for college and careers, and even network with city leaders! You can develop references to help you in the next stage of your life.

If you are between the ages of 14-21, consider applying to be a member of a Youth Leadership Council. The councils will meet at Cambria Heights, Central, and Flushing.
